Description:
SQyM (Soil Quality Control Monitoring) is a system designed for real-time monitoring of soil and crops. This tool is capable of measuring 9 important parameters including Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Conductivity, Humidity, Soil pH, TDS (fertilizer and dissolved nutrient content), and Salinity (mineral and salt content). These sensors are powered by solar panels and a power bank. With sensors connected to the ESP 32 microcontroller, the data obtained is directly sent to the database and analyzed through an application developed by the IMERCY team. SQyM has been successfully implemented in Plaosan Village, Wonoayu, Sidoarjo, helping farmers increase harvest productivity with a Smart Farming approach.
Additionally, SQyM is now equipped with a pest repellent feature utilizing ultrasonic technology. This system emits sound waves at specific frequencies ranging from 0 to 50 kHz, effectively deterring pests by targeting their respective frequency sensitivity. This innovation enhances crop protection and further optimizes agricultural yield.
